Launch of the Grid Extension and Reticulation Project in Kayunga District
On 6th December 2024, we proudly launched the Grid Extension and Reticulation Project in Kayunga District, a monumental step towards electrifying our communities and driving socio-economic development.
The event was graced by Hon. Justine Lumumba Kasule, representing the Minister of Energy and Mineral Development, Hon. Dr. Ruth Nankabirwa, reaffirming the government’s commitment to delivering affordable and reliable electricity to every corner of Uganda.
This project underscores our mission to transform lives through sustainable energy access, fostering economic growth, education, and better health care in the region.
This transformative project aims to bring clean and reliable electricity to more homes and businesses near the Isimba Power Plant. 49 villages around the Isimba Hydro Power Plant now have access to electricity, bringing light and opportunities to communities in the region.
