
UEGCL Holds 3rd Annual Compliance Workshop
On 24th March 2025, UEGCL successfully hosted its 3rd Annual Compliance Workshop at Skyz Naguru, Kampala. The event brought together stakeholders to explore the theme “Ethics as a Tool for Value Creation and Organizational Sustainability.
The Keynote Speakers were Mrs. Allen Kagina Former Executive Director, of Uganda National Roads Authority, who delivered a keynote presentation on ethics, emphasizing principles and values that drive organizational sustainability, and Mr. Vincent Seruma Organizational Development and Change Management Consultant, who shared insights on understanding organizational culture and ethics, highlighting the impact of ethical values on organizational morale, teamwork, and job satisfaction.
The Ag. CEO, Eng. George Mutetweka, commended the Audit department for organizing the workshop encouraged them to develop actionable items for implementation, subject to top management approval.
The workshop provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, reflection, and commitment to upholding ethics and compliance within UEGCL.
