UEGCL today hosted Hon. Dr. Monica Musenero at the Transformation Doctrine Workshop held at Protea Hotel, Kampala, where she engaged the Board of Directors and Management on the critical role of energy in accelerating Uganda’s national transformation agenda.
In her keynote address, Hon. Dr. Musenero emphasized the strategic importance of expanding the country’s electricity generation capacity to meet the growing demands of industrialization, innovation, and economic development. She noted that UEGCL remains central to delivering the reliable and sustainable power infrastructure required to drive value addition, attract investment, and improve livelihoods.
The Minister also highlighted UEGCL’s growing role beyond power generation, calling on the Company to leverage its technical expertise and project management capabilities to support the delivery of strategic national infrastructure projects.
